It's egg time again!

Em J Update

Emerson is doing GREAT! She has been taking more scheduled naps during the day. And has started going to bed around 7 or 8 and sleeping till 7 or 8. She usually gets up once (sometimes twice) to eat in the middle of the night. It's been awesome. When she's awake, she's usually super happy and smiley.

LIVE from the Notty's...it's Andy Osenga!

Our friends, the Nottingham's, hosted an amazing house concert with Andy Osenga. I was a total stalker and went early, so I could meet him and eat dinner with him. I told him it was almost as cool as meeting a Backstreet Boy. And guess what? He's met one! Brian Littrell (my favorite - tied with Nick). That revelation made Andy Osenga that much cooler! Anyway, his music is awesome...he used to be part of Caedmon's Call, my favorite band (who I met and blogged about a while back).

The concert was awesome! There were about 40 people there, just hanging out in the Notty's family room. And instead of listening to Andy Osenga on the I-pod, we were listening to him live...so cool!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

2 months already!

Emerson is so sweet. We love her to death! Although I would give her away every night from the hours of 8-11. She gets really fussy/tired/hungry and it takes forever to get her to fall asleep! I'm hoping this ends soon ad she starts going to bed earlier. So far, she and Luke have weighed almost the exact same amount at every check-up!

Can we fix it?

This week, my mom was in town, so while she hung out with Emer, Luke and I got to spend some quality Mother/Son time together. We went to the Children's Museum with our good friends, Amanda and Adian. The boys had a blast! We were there for 2 hours and spent all of our time at the Dinos and Bob the Builder. Thanks for taking us Hoopers! I think Luke may end up being an architect. The kid loves LEGOS!!!

Em J Update

Emerson has finally started sleeping a little better at night! She still gets up every 3-4 hours, but she usually goes right back to sleep. Amen! It's probably because she eats all day long! She has never refused food...just like her Mommy already :) Can't you tell? Look at those cheeks!

Buzz Buzz

Well, Luke and I were super sick last week, so maybe it was my feelings of needing to DO something...It made me feel like we were accomplishing something, since all we had been doing was laying in the couch for days. Or maybe it was because I convinced myself that if I cut his hair, it would make him feel better and get rid of some germs. Or maybe it was just because I was SO bored! Either way, we took the plunge and buzzed it off! Afterwards, Luke looked in the mirror and said, "OK, now let's put it back on!" Sorry, Luke!

I can't over the fact that in one haircut, he went from looking more like me, to looking like JC's clone!

Here are the kiddo's post bath. Luke is a GREAT big brother...so helpful and sweet. And Emerson loves to hear his voice. :)
