Wow...

Luke and JC received these awesome costumes for Christmas from Nana and Grandpa. WOW...they crack me up! Even as I am typing this post, they are running around the house pretending to fight droids and blow up the Death Star. There are no words to describe these 2...

Family, Presents, and Jesus...Oh My!

This year, we stayed in Indy and everyone came to us! (Thanks everyone!) Although we both missed our home towns, it was nice to avoid the traveling! On Christmas Eve, we went to our church with my parents. My brother and his wife came up later that night and JC's parents joined us the next morning for Christmas Day! Luke had a very low-key Christmas...only opening about 500 presents. Hopefully next year, the amount will be divided between him and his sister. :) Here are some shots from the day.

Jessie and I have been exchanging this scarf for the last 5 years...but this year JC was the lucky recipient. It suits him well, don't you think?

My Dad made me this great pasta drying rack. :)

Luke and JC both got Batman shirts!

Lighting all 5 advent candles and reading the Christmas story!

A great Neireiter shot...Puma apparently decided to grace this photo with her presence. Adidas was probably still hiding under the tree avoiding all the chaos.

Family of 3...almost 4!

Luke has SUCH an imagination and has been playing with his new Batcave and Castle nonstop since he opened them!

Yea for snow!

We didn't have much snow last week, but it was enough for Luke to play in!

Baby 2.0 in T-minus 12 days

WOW! This pregnancy could not have been more different than the last one! I thank Jesus daily. It's shocking to me that I haven't had one single twinge of kidney pain. I give all the glory to God and His master plan! Besides being pain-free, I have enjoyed the little things like going to the grocery store, being able to travel, not waking up every 4 hours for Vicodin. :) I don't know why things are so different this time around and I don't really care. I'm just glad that I got a 2nd opinion and didn't listen to all the people who said I was crazy to do it again. What's also different is that I'll actually miss being pregnant this time. Sure it'll be nice to sleep in another position besides my side, and to be able to breath again. But I'll miss feeling her move around. That has to be the BEST feeling in the world. And I'll totally miss being able to eat whatever I feel like and use her as an excuse.

We are soooo excited to meet this little girl. It feels pretty surreal that she'll be here in 12 days! Time has flown by. I'm still nervous that we used all of our cute genes on Luke. I hope we had some cute DNA left for her. We still don't have a name for her and probably won't until we meet her. Luke is still totally clueless about the whole thing. Sure, he knows we talk about his baby sister and he'll tell you she's in my tummy. But other than that, he has NO idea what's about to happen! Also, he still wants to call her Kelsey Coyote, which I can't seem to talk him out of. :)

I'm not at all ready for the newborn stage. I kind of wish I could give her to my friend Kelly (who loves babies!) until she's 4 months old. I would visit her daily of course, but not having to feed her every 2-3 hours and get up all night long would be great. Or I could hire a nanny like all the celebrities do.

Anyway, I go in on January 2nd to be induced, but I wouldn't mind if she decided to come before that on her own. (Hint Hint Baby) We'd appreciate your prayers for a healthy baby and a smooth delivery! Stay tuned...

Christmas Pre-school Party

JC and I were both able to celebrate with Luke at his Christmas Pre-school Party this week. You've never seen anything like a 2 year old Christmas party! It was crazy! They performed 2 songs for us, and we had lots of food and presents! His teachers are fantastic and he LOVES school!

Here's a video of one of the songs. I think has some serious dance skills. :)

Nothing better than frosting on your face.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Tis the season to go to The Melting Pot

A GREAT night! What's more fun than a night out without kids (except baby Knox who slept the whole time!) at The Melting Pot, with presents, and friends? :) Thanks Rebecca and Shanda for watching our 8 children so we could have a night out!!!

Rudolph Sandwiches

My mom used to make these for us all the time during the Christmas season.

You cut a peanut butter sandwich diagonally. Stick 2 pretzels in the top for antlers, a cherry for Rudolph's red nose, and some sort of candy or raisins for the eyes. Luke picked 2 blue m&m's (If you recall, I despise the blue m&m's!), which makes Rudolph look a little creepy. But, it was his sandwich, so i let him do it.

Amidst the chaos of December...

These last 2 weeks have been SO busy, with something going on almost every day and night. But in the midst of all the chaos, Luke has been having fun and is keeping our lives interesting.

He's extremely imaginative. This ikea basket was a sailboat, a magic carpet, and a car this afternoon...

Just being cute!

My favorite day of the year...

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I LOVE the Saturday after Thanksgiving. In my house growing up, we always spent the day breaking out the Christmas decorations. I always tried to be the first one to find the stockings, so I could be the one to hang them up! I got Luke really pumped up to decorate this year. When he woke up Saturday morning, his first words were "Can we decorate?" I'm pretty sure he didn't know what that meant, but he quickly found out...

Thanksgiving at the Trombley's

Luke and JC's cousin Ben...the "turkey's"

34 weeks pregnant in this shot...

Have you ever seen anything as amazing as these pj's? They are the most comfortable thing to wear! I can't believe mine actually fit!
