Mr. Creativity...

Every day, Luke wants to get our his "art work", which is a box that Grandma made for him. It has everything from stickers, to crafts, to paint and beyond. Luke's favorite activity of them all is painting. He clearly gets the creative gene from his Daddy.

A future photographer?

On vacation, JC's Uncle Matt let Luke run around outside with his digital SLR camera that probably cost more than my car. Luke loved taking pictures and has since been wanting to use my camera all the time (Thanks for that, Uncle Matt) :) Here are some of his recent shots.

Our New York adventure

We just got back from a week long vacation to Saratoga Springs, NY. We spent the week hanging out on Lake George, catching up with family and playing/eating the days away.

Some of our highlights included:
- eating Uncle Matt's amazing Paella.
- picking fresh tomatoes at Aunt Ellen's and then spiting them out. (obviously this was Luke) :)
- hanging out with Anna (JC's 11 year old cousin), who is an amazing babysitter!
- spending time on Aunt Carol and Uncle Gary's boat, cruising the lake.
- getting to see the rest of the family at Sarah's graduation party
- miniature golfing (I kicked the boy's booty's during our first game!)
- swimming in the lake (just Luke and JC...I am afraid of freshwater sharks)
- having endless family members enjoy chasing my 2 year old, so I could sit around and read.
- shopping in Saratoga, and eating delicious food every day

I had 6 hole in ones during this game!!! Totally out of character for me. I was 8 under par! Grandpa T thinks it had something to do with my extra baby counterweight. Ha Ha. I guess I should always golf at 15 weeks pregnant.

Blue m&m's? No thank you!

Does anyone else remember the good ole days? Before there were blue m&m's? I still haven't forgiven the Mars candy company for replacing my favorite m&m color, tan with the hideous bright blue. To this day, I boycott the blues. If JC is around, he'll eat them. Otherwise they go straight to the trash. Anyway, I found this picture of what an m&m bag used to look like. Sigh...
