Pulling Up!
Yesterday was big day for Luke! He pulled up on the coffee table all by himself. I was shocked. Then he pulled himself up on this leap frog table and played with it for quite a while. Then today, he actually crawled a few steps. He's been army crawling for a while, but today he got up on all fours. It was so cute. It's hard to believe I have a little boy...where did my baby go?

Here's what Luke has been up to...
We decorated the house for Christmas on Saturday. It's my favorite day of the year! Luke helped out by playing with his Christmas toys.
After decorating for Christmas, we introduced Luke to one of our favorite Christmas movies, Home Alone. This is his impression of Kevin.
He's also been helping me cook dinner every night by providing lovely drumming sounds!
Thanksgiving pictures!
We had a really fun time in West Lafayette over the holidays. Nana T made a great Thanksgiving meal, we taught the whole family how to play guitar hero, and started our annual Trombley Trophy competition. I'm really hoping to take home the trophy again this year! Ha Ha!

Here is our sports team picture. It took a lot for me to put Luke in this horrible Purdue sweatshirt, but I didn't have much of a choice.

Caedmon's Call
I had one of the BEST nights of my life last night! My favorite band in the world is Caedmons' Call. (Ok, so they are a close second to the backstreet boys...) I pretty much own every CD and have been listening to them for over 10 years. Anyway, my best friend Amanda works for the YMCA and was in charge of bringing in Caedmon's for the John 17:21 conference that she helped plan. Amanda ended up being a runner for the band and before the concert I got to meet all of them! They were so nice and really laid back. The concert was really small and intimate, so we had amazing seats. Amanda even requested some of our favorite songs and they played them for us. After the concert, some of my friends and I got to go backstage and help them tear down their set and carry their stuff out to their tour bus. Yes that's right! I got to carry an actual Caedmon's Call guitar! And I got my picture taken with the lead singer Cliff!!! As if that wasn't enough, they got Amanda's information and we are on the guest list for their next concert in Indiana...front row! It'll be next April. I can't wait! You might think this all sounds a bit crazy, but just picture all of that happening with your favorite band and you'll understand.
Thanks AC, for a GREAT night!
If you've never listened to Caedmon's Call, you should. Their new CD, Overdressed, just came out.

Ahhhh Gulf Shores...
We took our annual Neireiter family trip to the beach last week. We usually go in March, but obviously this year we had to reschedule for October! :) It was gorgeous weather and we were practically the only ones at the condo. Luke loved the beach and we all swam in the pool everyday. John, JC, and I played our favorite game, Settlers, a ton and I kicked butt! Thanks Jessie for humoring us and playing a few times. And thanks Mom and Dad for the great trip. I took a million pictures...here are just a few.
