3 weeks old! Emerson is super sweet, even though she has her days and nights mixed up! She is starting to be more awake, which is fun.

Sibling Love

Luke has been doing GREAT with Emerson (so far!). He has been trying to get her to hold Spiderman. If he's willing to share his most beloved possessions (action figures) with her, then he must be ok with her living here. :) He doesn't show a ton of interest in her, but when he does we have the camera ready! Next week will be the real test...JC has been home for the past 2 weeks, so we'll see how he does when it's just Mommy and Em. Right now he is LOVING all the Daddy attention!

The Wedding of the YEAR!

It was a CRAZY and CHAOTIC first week of January. Probably the most exhausting and EXCITING week ever. Not only did I birth a baby, but my BFF got married!!! JC was a groomsmen, Luke was the ring bearer, and I was the matron of honor. We felt so blessed to be part of such an amazing day! It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. Congratulations Amanda and Adam!!!!

Welcome to the world EJT!

It has been a busy few days at the Trombley household! We went to the hospital Friday night to be induced. By Saturday morning at 10:30, the Dr. broke my water. And Emerson arrived at 1:21 pm. It was the easiest delivery in the history of the world! I literally pushed for 2 minutes. No joke. We spent 2 more nights at the hospital and came home Monday afternoon. Luke has been great with his new baby Emer (as he calls her). Every now and then he'll check her out and then he's back to being an active superhero. My mom has been here this week, which has been helpful, since Emerson has her days and nights confused. We took her back to the Dr. yesterday because she had high bilirubin scores. We got her tested again and her levels came back ok, so she's fine! She's lost a little weight and is about 6 lbs. now. SO TINY! It's weird how much she looks like Luke's baby pictures! So for now we're just learning how to be a family of 4 this week. And we're gearing up for my BFF's wedding this weekend. Luke is going to be the cutest ring bearer and Emerson will probably be the most adorable 1 week old a wedding has ever seen! :)
