I gave Luke his own spoon and yogurt today for lunch. WOW! What a mess. I mean...it was everywhere! But he loved being such a big boy. And he equally loved splashing in the tub afterwards!

New House
We (finally!) found a new house. For those people who say it's a buyer's market, I have to disagree! We started looking for houses 6 weeks ago. Our specifications were: older neighborhood with trees, decent size yard, 2 story home, in Fishers. You wouldn't think that would be too much to ask for. We physically walked in and looked at over 90 homes in the Fishers area. Most of the houses met some of our criteria, but not all. We ended up narrowing our search to 3 neighborhoods.
Here's what has happened in the last 2 weeks...We put an offer in on house #1 the same day as someone else. They offered list price...we did not. So, we moved on to house #2...almost put an offer in, until we found out some not so good things about the house from that realtor. Fell in love with house #3...put an offer in. They accepted another offer the night before...again for over list price! (Who the heck offers list price in a buyers market anyway?) Finally moved on to house #4...liked it alot (didn't love it)...made an offer. That seller didn't seem to willing to negotiate. But while we were in the middle of counter offering on house #4, house #3 became available again. For some reason, those buyers backed out. We were so excited! So, we bailed on house #4 and went back to house #3.
So this week we FINALLY made an offer on house #3, they accepted, and we close on it June 13th. Our inspection is next Tuesday...hopefully we won't find any major problems. I don't know if I can handle any more house hunting! :) We close on our old house June 20th, so we'll have a week to paint, clean, and move! God's perfect timing at work once again!
I will say, that our realtors have been AMAZING through this whole process. They sold our house super fast, which in this supposed "buyers market" (I still don't agree, but whatever) is awesome. The realtor who has been showing us homes has also been extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone! Here's their website...http://www.the-morris-group.com/
Thanks Debbie, Suzanne, Tracy, Kristi, and Alyssa!
Here's a picture of our new house! It is in Conor Knoll (allisonville and 131st.)

And here is my favorite room in the house...

Learning new tricks
Luke has been learning a few new things this week. He earned how to open doors...and he took his first steps last night at our Young Life meeting. JC and I both got to witness it. It was awesome! He's done it a few more times today too. I think I am in trouble!

Look what I can do!

Helping me pack! We sold our house a few weeks ago and have to be out in a month. And today we are counter offering on a house that we found. I'll let you know how it turns out...

Giggle Boy
Luke was cracking me up today. He's been really loud and talkative lately. Forgive my camera skills...it was hard to chase him around on my hands and knees, while tickling him, and videotaping!

YEA!
We sold our house last weekend!!! It is super exciting! Now we just have to find a place to live. :) We close on June 20th, so hopefully everything will go smoothly and we'll find a new house before then!

Luke's buddy Kai...
This week, we had a special visitor at our house! Kai came to play with us for a couple days! Luke and Kai had so much fun together. They played very well, and Kai taught Luke the valuable lesson of sharing. It was quite crazy having two 1 year olds that like to get into everything! I successfully went out to lunch with Marisa and her 3 kids, to the park, and even got them to bed without too much fuss. I am proud to say that I kept both of them alive! I don't know how mothers of twins handle it!

Here Kai...chew on this!

The boys had fun on a wagon ride!
