Thanksgiving Feast

Ask Luke what he is thankful for and his answer is "Everything!" We had fun at pre-school celebrating with his friends. They sang a few turkey songs, enjoyed a delicious feast and we got to attend chapel with him.

Gulf Shores 2011

Another year at the beach! Super bummed that John, Jessie, and Isaac couldn't join us this year. We're already counting down the days until next November!

This year Luke requested that we make my feet into bear claws.

Go-Karts! We were hoping Luke would enjoy them this year, but he's still not a fan. JC did about 2 laps with him. :)

Gorgeous!

Our favorite store!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a GREAT week!

Silly Girl

This little girl is hilarious, adorable, whiney, sweet, persistent, and opinionated. She likes to tell knock-knock jokes that make no sense, play with her brother's super heros, and scream my name very loudly.

Fall Fun with Luke and Em

We've had a super busy fall, but we've still managed to squeeze in some superhero play, park time, coloring, and dress up!

Asheville Getaway

JC's childhood friend Brian got married in Asheville, NC last weekend. JC and Brian grew up together and were neighbors. Friday morning we drove with JC's parents and stayed until Monday. Our awesome friends, Adam and Amanda, were actually brave enough to stay with our kids the entire time. They volunteered for the job! Incredible! JC and I enjoyed the lack of responsibility and took full advantage of the opportunity to turn this wedding weekend into a mini-vacation. We LOVED Asheville. It's such a unique town, full of history, art, shopping, scenery, and AMAZING food! Here are some of the highlights...

Rachel and Brian, the Bride and Groom

JC and his childhood buddies

We took a sweet trolley tour all around Asheville and learned about the unique town.

4 and 1/2

We celebrated Luke's 4 and 1/2 birthday with a huge half stack of pancakes!
