Baby Celebration!

Our church, Redeemer Presbyterian, held a baby celebration last weekend for all of the new babies. There were 7 just in our North Parish! We produce babies at Redeemer like bunnies! It was a super sweet and special time. The babies were blessed, prayed for and showered with an adorable basket of gifts. It's so wonderful to have such an amazing community of friends and believers to help raise our children to know Jesus!

Mother's Day Tea

Luke's pre-school hosted the most adorable Mother's Day tea. The kids put on a great program (check out the video below) and we were showered with pictures, food and gifts. Luke and I had so much fun sharing this special day together!

Geeked Out

For JC's 30th birthday (in July), I and taking him to Comic Con to fulfill his lifelong dream of hanging out with the geeks. Our bff's, AC ad Adam are coming with us. It's sure to be the geekiest experience o all our lives, but we are SO excited. I've been planning this trip for over a year and I finally told JC last week. :) He was speechless!

4 months and as cute as ever!

Emerson is getting more adorable every day. She's enjoying her borrowed bumbo, and is now able to lift her head while on her tummy. She has a whole new perspective on the world! We also gave her some rice cereal for the first time. She doesn't quite get it yet, but we'll keep practicing. I'm sure she'll soon start to enjoy food as much as the rest of her family :)

I'm 29! (again)

I wasn't really looking forward to this birthday, but all my friends and family made sure that it was an awesome day. The morning started off with Kelly and Marisa surprising me at Luke's school with a gift card bouquet from all of my friends. It was so unexpected and really awesome! Then I headed to get a pedicure with my bff and she took me out for lunch. And I got to spend some quality time with the Emonster, since Luke was in Newburgh. All in all, it wasn't a bad way to step into a new decade :)
